Description Lauren Burignat-Kozol is currently the Associate Dean of the Rabinowitz Honors College and Associate Adjunct Professor in the Writing Studies and Rhetoric Department at Hofstra University. In addition to teaching in Culture & Expression and advising RHC students, she runs the Honors College Co-Curricular and Study Abroad programs. On campus, these events happen in collaboration RHC students, Faculty Mentors, and other centers at Hofstra including the HU Opera Theater (where she was the Dramaturg for many years), the HU Museum of Art, the Bird Sanctuary, and the Center for Civic Engagement, where she oversees the Hempstead High Tutoring and Middle School Mentoring Projects
