Description

This is a program to build bridges between the religious studies classroom, Hofstra University, and local centers oriented around religion. We have garnered two external grants so far, from Interfaith America, and from the Lived Religion Project at St. Louis University. The project involves a team of two professors and our department majors who gather data on local religious organizations, document the diversity of religion in Nassau County Long Island, and are working on creating a website and interactive map.
