A series of working conferences designed to explore the challenges facing local Latino media on Long Island and strategize ways to build integrated relationships by taking a look at the economic sustainability of local media; media representation and community participation in local media; civic journalism; social media and community engagement; and the role of local media in creating a viable public sphere in the growing Latino community.
